Bordeaux Wine Tour

This Tour is devoted to the tasting of the finer Bordeaux's of Washington.
Washington grows all 6 of the reds, yes 6 and 2 of the 3 whites varietals.
We have both right and left bank blends, as well a single varietals.
Know your Bordeauxs? we can taylor the tour to suite what ever your preferences, or
do you want to learn which styles you prefer most? We will help you have the fun in deciding!

Let us help you explore the distinctive varietal characteristics of Washington's Bordeauxs.

Most of Bordeaux France is using just 3 grapes, Merlot, Cab Sav, and Cab Franc.
The balance of the othes is less than 2%* "The French Wine Society."
In Washington we have those varietals rarely seen in Bordeaux any more as well as the ones you know.
 It's truly thrilling.

These pictures are from recent trip to Bordeaux France.

Woodinville is only 35 minutes from Seattle and is in the the rare position of being able to offer tastings of wines from all around the state - without having to travel the distance to see them. Art & Wine Tour - Fixed Tour

The Art & Wine Tour is a great combination. I created this tour in 2012 to enjoy both. Visit the Chihuly Garden & Glass Musuem,

located beneath the Space Needle.   ( It's now the most popular tourist site in Seattle).  It then follows with lunch,( on your own) but with your guide at a nationally acclaimed local spot, then a visit to a popular local art gallery where you will have a complimentary glass of wine as you peruse the art.  Then its off to taste some fine wines at some local award winning wineries that  are either art focused or have uniquely designed and artistic tasting rooms along with their fine wines.
Your tickets to the Chihuly exhibit are included in the price of the tour.

With some of our exclusive contacts, we are now able to offer these
exciting tours to several of Oregon's finer producers who have local
tasting facilities in WA, either in Seattle or Woodinville. You may also
have an opportunity to taste some of the very limited production Pinot Noirs
of WA. Yes WA, depending on availablity of course.

The WA Pinot Noirs are very limited since most of our climate is too
warm, but we do have some selected microclimates that are cooler
that allows some good Pinot Noirs to be produced here in WA.

Seattle Wine Tour - Half Day Tour

This tour is a 1/2 day tour. A great way to see parts of the city and taste some wine. There are 30 + urban wineries in the city of Seattle.

Most are located in the industrial neighborhoods of SODO, Georgetown and South Park.  Typically we visit the infamous Charles Smith Wines, located across the street from Seattle's Boeing Field. Depending on the tour length we go to lunch, where your guide can speak more with you about Washington wines. Then we visit boutique wineries with very small production. Often you will meet the winemaker themselves.  To see a list of Seattle Urban Wineries, please visit http://www.seattleurbanwineries.com/cms/

Snoqualmie Falls Wine Tour - Half Day Tour

This is not your typical site seeing tour, but a combination of a little sightseeing to Snoqualmie Falls, and more wine tasting.

It includes visits to a few boutique wineries. One such unique winery in the area offers the opportunity to taste wine while overlooking the vineyard and the garden, often with the wine maker ( best in spring and summer).Other wineries are fairly close by in Woodinville or back in Seattle. After visiting the Falls we stop for lunch (on your own) but with your guide at a near by restaurant or at the Salish Lodge, which over looks the falls.( on request) After a great lunch and talks about wine with your guide we head out to a few more boutique wineries to enjoy some excellent wines based on what we have selected before hand with you. Return to Seattle in the late afternoon
This tour is usually a full day aproximately 6-7 hours, but can be adjusted to your requests.
